How To Take Merry Peri® and Perky Post® For Best Results

merry peri and perky post for menopause support

Are you wondering how best to use Merry Peri® and Perky Post®? Well, stand by and let’s address a few of your most common questions.

Is Merry Peri® or Perky Post® best for me?

Now, that’s a great question and we’re so glad you asked. The truth is, it’s completely up to you, your budget and whatever else you may be taking.

However, we designed Merry Peri® to support you in perimenopause and Perky Post® for post-menopause. That said, you could choose either because…

Merry Peri® and Perky Post®

Both Merry Peri® and Perky Post® contain Saffron, Fenugreek and Sage, which help with sleep, mood, libido, joint pain, hot flushes and more.

The difference is that Perky Post® also contains Vitamins D3 and K2 plus Resveratrol to help support bone, brain and heart health as these organs become particularly vulnerable post-menopause.

Vitamin D3 also helps with mood, hair, vaginal health, immunity and so much more. I’d go so far to say that vitamin D3 is pretty much essential to every woman in peri or post-menopause. What’s more, it works in tandem with Vitamin K2 to increase absorption of calcium for bone strength.

How long should I take Merry Peri® or Perky Post® for?

This is another brilliant question because we’ve noticed a lot of women don’t take their Merry Peri® and Perky Post® for long enough to get the best results. Rather than creating overnight change, natural supplements work subtly and gently with your body.

Also, we get a lot of feedback from people who say they stopped taking them after a month and it was a big mistake. When they came back and followed the full recommendations they found their signs and symptoms improved and they became calmer and happier again.

The key to anything that works in synergy with your body is to give it time to work. It doesn’t matter if it’s medication or natural supplements. You’ll often find 12 weeks is the sweet spot.

For Merry Peri® and Perky Post® we suggest an average of six weeks with 12 weeks being the recommendation for optimum results. Indeed, sometimes people get faster results and for others, 12 weeks is the magic number.

But don’t just take our word for it, have a read of the testimonials to get a feel for this here.

What’s the correct way to take Merry Peri® or Perky Post®?

  1. Take two capsules together daily.
  2. Preferably with food or on a full stomach.
  3. Morning or evening depends on your routine. Most people choose mornings however you will know the time that works best for you.
  4. Don’t like taking capsules? Crack them open and add the contents to a shake or smoothie. Try this yummy recipe.
  5. For best results, we suggest taking Merry Peri® and Perky Post® for a period of at least 90 days and to continue taking it while you are peri or post-menopausal. And – because you’re in post-menopause from here on in – for the rest of your life! 🙂

Tip:

Vitamin D3 (as in Perky Post®) is a fat-soluble vitamin. This means it doesn’t dissolve in water and is best absorbed by your bloodstream when accompanied by high-fat foods like avocado, nuts and extra virgin olive oil. This study showed vitamin D3 was 32 percent better absorbed when taken this way.

Post-menopause

This is the time when menstruation is well and truly over, the ovaries have stopped producing high levels of sex hormones and for many ladies, perimenopause symptoms subside.

Estrogen has protective qualities and the diminished levels mean organs such as your brain, heart and bones become more vulnerable. It’s also a key lubricant so your lips may become drier, your joints less supple and your vagina might be drier. In addition, your thyroid, digestion, insulin, cortisol and weight may alter.

At this juncture, a woman might experience an increase in the signs of reduced estrogen but she should have a decrease of perimenopause symptoms. That said, some women will experience symptoms like hot flushes for years or even the rest of their lives.

Perimenopause

Peri = ‘near’

Most females begin to experience the symptoms of perimenopause in their mid-forties. Your progesterone levels decline from your mid-30s but it’s generally from around 40 that the rest of your sex hormones begin to follow suit.

Perimenopause is a different experience for every woman and some women may barely notice it. The first indicators are usually changes to the monthly cycle. This means that for some ladies, this can be accompanied by things like sore breasts, mood swings, weight gain around the belly, and fatigue as time goes on.

For those with symptoms it can be a challenging time physically, mentally and emotionally.

Importantly, perimenopause lasts – on average – four to 10 years. The transition is usually a gradual process and many women enter perimenopause without realising.
